President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday approved the appointment of 36 individuals to fill vacancies on the governing councils of various Federal Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education.

The appointments was contained in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, titled, ‘President Tinubu announces more appointments for federal institutions.’

According to the statement, the new appointees are to assume office with immediate effect. They are as follows:

I. AFRICAN AVIATION AND AEROSPACE UNIVERSITY, ABUJA
Hon. Chidi Nwogu, Member, Imo State.

II. UNIVERSITY OF JOS, PLATEAU STATE
Dr Folashade Mulikat Kareem, Member, Kwara State

III. FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, IKOT-ABASI, AKWA IBOM STATE
