A Kano State House of Reps member Mohamed Hassan, is dead.
Hassan, who represented Dawakin-Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency was said to have died after a brief illness.
In a statement issued on Friday by Muazzam Dawakin-Kudu, his special assistant on media, the former lawmaker will be buried on Saturday.
The statement read, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Hon. Barr. M.D. Hassan.”
According to the statement, a funeral prayer is scheduled to take place at about 1:30 p.m. at the National Mosque, Abuja.
The statement prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased’s shortcomings and for Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
Hassan was regarded as an active participant in legislative activities at the National Assembly.
