The Bayelsa State governor, Duoye Diri, has announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The development which marks an end to speculations was made on Wednesday in a Facebook post by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Alabrah.
According to the post, the governor resigned from the party alongside the 23 House of Assembly members in the state.
Though, it unclear where which party the governor will join, but his resignation comes a day after the Enugu State governor, Peter Mbah, defected from the PDP, to the rulling All Progressive Congress, APC.
