Kidnapped Kaduna lawmaker, Hon. Usman Garba Zingo has been released by his abductors.
The lawmaker regained freedom on Sunday evening after ransom was paid, source familiar with the matter revealed.
The Lawmaker was abducted while travelling from Zamfara to Kaduna, last week.
According to Daily post, Bakatsine, a security expert in the North West shared a video on X with well wishers congratulating the lawmaker.
While Daily Intel Newspaper could not independently confirm the development, the news of his release reportedly brought relief to his family, supporters, and members of his community.
No official statement has been issued on his release yet.
