92-year-old Paul Biya has been reelected President after he was declared winner of the 2025 Presidential Election.
According to the results announced by the Cameroon Constitutional Council on Monday, Biya secured 53.66% of the votes against Issa Tchiroma, who obtained 35.19%.
Biya now extends his 43 years rule by another 7 years. He will be 99 by the time he ends his tenure.
