The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Thursday upheld the election of Monday Okpebholo as the Governor of Edo State.
This follows the dismissal of the petition of Asue Ighodalo, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP, in the September 21, 2024 Edo governorship election .
However, the PDP rejects the verdict, vowing to challenge it at the Supreme Court.
