The Taraba State Chief Judge, Justice Joel Agya, on Tuesday approved Christmas vacation for high court judges in the state.
In a statement in Jalingo, Agya said the vacation starts from Wednesday Dec. 24, 2025 to Friday Jan. 2, 2026.
Agya, added that the notice was in line with the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011.
“Whereas it is provided under Order 8 Rule 4 (C) of the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011, that the civil matters shall be held on every workday, except during the period beginning on Christmas eve and ending on Jan. 2,
“Now, therefore, it is hereby notified for general information that there shall be Christmas vacation of the high courts across the state,” he said.
