Legendary singer Elton John has been left with limited vision after recovering from a health scare, the singer revealed on Tuesday.
Sharing his hospital experience in an Instagram post, the singer said he contracted a severe eye infection over the summer and is facing a long road to recovery.
He said “Over the summer, I’ve been dealing with a severe eye infection that has unfortunately left me with only limited vision in one eye.
“I am healing, but it’s an extremely slow process and it will take some time before sight returns to the impacted eye.”
He went on to thank his excellent team of medical staff, as well as his family, for taking care of him over the last several weeks.
“I have been quietly spending the summer recuperating at home, and am feeling positive about the progress I have made in my healing and recovery thus far,” he added, before signing off “with love and gratitude, Elton John.”
Many famous faces took to the comments section to offer their support for the legendary musician.
