Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Barr. Nyesom Wike has approved the 2022 and 2023 promotion of staff of the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, on Grade Levels 07 to 15.
According to a release the by the executive secretary of the FCDA, Engr. Shehu Hadi Ahmad, a total number of 1,018 of senior and junior staff were successful following the conclusion of the exercise in April 2024.
The statement also disclosed that the minister has granted approval for the immediate review of the Conditions of Service and Operations Manual for the FCDA.
Ahmad affirmed that the approval was conveyed by the chairman, FCT Civil Service Commission, Engr. Emeka Ezeh.
He said following the approval by the authority, FCDA is now in the process of setting up the necessary machinery towards the realisation of the objectives for the review.
Reacting to this development, the management and staff of the FCDA expressed profound gratitude and appreciation to the minister for the approvals, believing that the it would go a long way to boost the morale of staff and improve their productivity, in line with the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Tinubu’s Administration.
