Traffic would be distorted in the Ogun State capital following a meeting of the Nigeria governors forum, scheduled to hold today being June 24.
According to a notice by TRACE PRO, on Monday, posted on the Ogun State x handle, roads around presidential lodge, Ibara GRA, venue of the meeting, would be closed for road users.
The notice therefore stated that around 0700hrs, traffic from Wemby Suite/Tunde Lemos House would be diverted towards Fatgbems House/Vulcan House to the back of Park-Inn Raddisson Hotel down to NUT junction for the continuation of their journey.
Traffic from NUT junction towards the presidential lodge would be rerouted towards the back of Park-Inn Raddisson Hotel down to Fatgbems House/Vulcan House for the continuation of their journey.
Government of Ogun State said, it regrets the inconvenience caused by the diversion.
The notice reads: This to notify the motoring public that in view of the meeting of Nigeria Governors Forum scheduled to hold on Monday, 24th June, 2024, at the Presidential Lodge, Ibara GRA, traffic inbound, outbound and around the Presidential Lodge axis would be diverted from 0700hrs as follows:
“Traffic inbound Presidential Lodge from Wemby Suite/Tunde Lemos House would be diverted towards Fatgbems House/Vulcan House to the back of Park-Inn Raddisson Hotel down to NUT Junction for the continuation of their journey.
“Traffic from NUT Junction towards the Presidential Lodge would be rerouted towards the back of Park-Inn Raddisson Hotel down to Fatgbems House/Vulcan House for the continuation of their journey from there.
“Any inconveniences this might cause is highly regretted.”
