The Association of Corporate Online Editors, ACOE, has described the national honour confered on the Special Adviser on Information & Strategy to President Bola Tinubu, Mr Bayo Onanuga, as well deserving, noting that the award was in recognition of Onanuga’s outstanding contributions and dedication to public service.
President Tinubu had in Democracy Day address of the joint session of the National Assembly on Thursday, confered national honours to notable Nigerians, one of whom is Onanuga.
In a statement on Friday by the Public Relations Officer, Mr Gbemiga Olamikan, ACOE said it ” received the news of the well-deserved recognition of National honour, Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) granted to our own Special Adviser on Information & Strategy to the President Tinubu, Mr Bayo Onanuga CON.” with joy.
The statement disclosed that Onanuga’s recognition coincided with the election and inauguration of the association’s new executives.
While conveying the gratitude of the newly elected chairman, Mr. Omosola Akingboye, the association pledged the commitment of its members, stating that it look forward to a robust media relationship with Onanuga’s office.
