Yet-to-be-identified gunmen have killed a ward councillor, Stanley Nwaeze, alongside killed the local government coordinator of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Arinze Ugochukwu in Onicha Local government Area of Ebonyi State.
This is coming a few days after three persons were shot deas in Akpoha Community in Afikpo North Local Government Area of the state by suspected gunmen.
Ugochukwu, who was said to have visited his friend, Nwaeze, in Enuagu and while seeing him off, both where killed by the gunmen.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joshua Ukandu confirmed incident.
