The Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Special Ad-hoc Committee on Constitution Review, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, is expected to lay the report of a bill seeking to amend the 1999 Constitution to provide for the establishment of State Police and for related matters on the floor during Tuesday’s plenary.
The bill was listed on Tuesday’s Order Paper seen by our correspondent.
Recall that the committee, after the opening of the meeting held on Monday, dissolved into executive session to deliberate on the Senate version of the report on the state police legislative framework.
