The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has extended its Nigerian Content Academy training programme to companies operating in the midstream sector of the oil and gas industry.
The five-day training, organised under the Board’s LEARNFEST series, began at the Nigerian Content Tower in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, with participants drawn from Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG).
The programme is the first batch of training specifically designed for midstream operators.
Speaking at the opening, the Director of Capacity Building at NCDMB, Engr. Abayomi Bamidele, represented by Doris Opuwari-Bai, urged participants to take part actively and provide feedback to improve future editions.
The training covers the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act, the Board’s mandate and key regulatory processes in the industry.
Participants will also visit the Nigerian Content Tower, the Nigerian Content Gas Plant in Elebele and the Nigerian Content Training Centre as part of the programme.
