Veteran Juju and Highlife musician, Iyun Janet Ajilore, popularly known as St. Janet, has died.
While the axact cause of her death is not known, publisher and socialite, Otunba Femi Davies, who announced her passing on Sunday in a post shared on his Facebook page said “She died after a brief illness on Saturday.”
According to Davies, the singer died on Saturday after a brief illness.
St. Janet was widely celebrated for her energetic performances and unique style, which earned her a loyal fan base within Nigeria’s Juju music community and beyond. She was also known for lewd lyrics in her songs.St
